I recently bought one of the WD TV Live Media boxes and Live in Australia.
The problem was and still is, that the firmware dosn’t cover australian websites for tv amd ovies.
Is this something that you can do or is it something that is on the cards with WD oer is there a work around that I am not aware of..??

I know this is probably a dumb question and I am pretty sure I know the answer. But you don’t know if you don’t ask. I have a WD live. Will the WD live + software work on the WD live. If not is it possible to make it work on the WD live?

Hi, where do you find the time? I have been looking for a media player to buy. I like the WDTVLive+. FYI, CompUSA still has the WDTV and the WDTVLive. I could not find the WDTVLive+ on their shelves.
Do you release just the binaries or the source too? Is there a development team or just you?
What do you rhink of the Viewsonic VMP71 with the internal HD. The guts look just like the Argosy hv335t which supports bittorrents.

Thanks for all your work.
I just bought a Live, as that’s what they sold at costco. I didn’t realize there is a Live+. Sucks to be instantly obsolete.
Anyways, in your opinion (and others) is it worth it for me to return the item and pay an extra $30 (or so) to get the Live+. It would seem there would be advantages to being DRM free but the hacking community usually seems to free things up.
