Can you add CP1258 for vietnamese subtitle to this codepages?
I request WDTV many times but issue has been ignored. WDTV does not show SRT file in CP1258 correctly.
Greatly appreciate.

Sorry, but this is really not only Dutch... This app.bin contains modules for the following encodings:
koi_8_u, koi_8_r, iso8859_2 through iso8859_7, as well as iso8859_9 and iso8859_13 through iso8859_15; euc_jp, ascii, and the following cp's:
737, 775, 850, 852, 855, 857, 860-866, 869, 874, 932, 936, 949, 950, 1250, 1251 and 1255.

There are several problems with it, though.
1. After unzipping you must rename the file from nls-codepages-0.1.app.bin to nls-codepages.app.bin, because the paths to the modules in the initialization script don't contain the version number.
2. ALL of these modules are loaded to the memory, which is a bit too much - since most of us need only two or three, and some of them have already been implemented in the latest official firmware (like cp1250 and cp1251).
3. It doesn't really help that the modules are loaded, since the additional encoding menu still does not refer to them.
4. Some of the encodings require characters that are not present in the current font (like middle eastern characters). b-rad, it would be unbelievably helpful if you can provide in the startup script an option to choose a different font located on the usb device.

If all of these problems are ironed, a revamped app.bin based on this one can solve the language problems for most users.

<<< edit: i noticed this some time ago and just haven't gotten around to correcting it, will do this weekend. --b-rad >>>
