Hi,

I have a problem with installation of this package. In general, in which way should I install those .bin packages?

Thanks, as you can see from my mail I am now one :-)

<<< edit: Ask on the wdlxtv forums. --b-rad >>>

Was wondering, does this firmware support video shuffling?

<<< edit: no, but it could be possible with a dynamic playlist if you are a programmer ;) --b-rad >>>

Question: How do you mount an XFS share? Do you do this the same way you share a NFS share?

<<< edit: yes, that would work if you added an xmount line for it in net.mounts. --b-rad >>>

Sure, why not. I'd be happy to support the WDLXTV project.

But I'm afraid I'll be able to donate you next month (I've been bill-shocked by my mobile service provider - 900EUR :( for data roaming)

I use a HFS+ (non-journaled) on my media HDD. I've read somewhere, if you do not eject the drive before disconnecting, it becomes read-only on WDTV device.

Is there a way to overcome this? Doesn't the fsck_hfs do this after OS recognizes a HFS+ partition?

Almost everyday I have to connect my HFS+ formatted drive to a Mac, to get it working on the WDTV again. Because I need RW access on my WDLXTV (for FTP purposes).

<<< edit: no way currently, I might look into making a bit of automagic happen to fix it sometime but I'm busy...sounds like something a donation could expedite ;-) --b-rad >>>
