I have USB LG External Super Multi DVD Rewriter model: GSA-21660 (2005years) and i try use this dvd fw and try use 0.5.6.1 but not work

Hi B-rad,

thanks a lot for your great job!

I have just a question: do you think it could be possible to use a DVD writer with our magic wdtv box and to use it to record movies from an USB HD to a DVD?
My dream is to connect a DVB USB key to the WDTV and to be able to record TV to an USB HD or a DVD.
For this, we’ll need to install the DVB USB driver to manage it on the WDTV…
Do you think such a thing is possible whith our magic box ?

Hi Mate. does this version supports Blu-Ray Player and Ripping capability as well or can it be done at all. Cheers…

Any chance of seeing a 1.02.10 based DVDmod firmware anytime soon? Some of us prefer this simple firmware to pair with our WDTV.

Does this allow to write dvds from video files in usb storage?
if not ,Is this possible in other way now or in future on wdtv?

It might be possible to burn dvd’s in the future, but it would require a decent donation (aka no personal interest in it working) for me to see about getting implemented. Might not work either due to small amount of available memory. –b-rad >>>

I use DVDMOD. It’s great for me to see the video! But external subtitle cannot show. Only the way to merge the subtitle inside can see it.

So can I connect a blu-ray optical drive to work with this? I know the file system is different but I was just curious. If it is or will be possible just let me know im considering purchasing one of these and your firmwares and apps look amazing so thanks.

Just wanted to say THANKS! Wish I could do more but unemployment blows!
WDXLTV is awesome, most importantly network with NFS.
